Our premium organic Asian Blue Lotus, available in bulk for tea blenders, herbalists, practitioners, makers and retailers — or simply for those who go through a lot of it. These are the same hand-selected flowers we use across our own Asian Blue Lotus range.

Nymphaea nouchali — known as Asian Blue Lotus (botanically a blue water lily) and revered in Ayurvedic tradition as Nilotpala — is a close relative of the rare, true Egyptian Blue Lotus. Its natural alkaloids, nuciferine and aporphine, are prized for gentle relaxation, a softly euphoric mood and dreamlike calm, and it has long been used as a rejuvenating botanical and natural aphrodisiac.

How to use:
Steep 1–2 teaspoons (approx. 1.5–3g) in hot (not boiling) water for 5–10 minutes. Add honey or your favourite sweetener to taste. Can also be added to wine or other warm drinks for a ceremonial touch, used in baths, or burned as incense.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight. Best before 2 years.
