Nymphaea nouchali — known as Asian Blue Lotus and revered in Ayurvedic tradition as Nilotpala — is a close relative of the rare, true Egyptian Blue Lotus and shares many of its celebrated properties: gentle relaxation, elevated mood, aphrodisiac qualities, and a softly dreamlike state that makes it perfect for meditation, intimacy, or unwinding at the end of the day.

The flowers contain natural alkaloids including nuciferine and aporphine, which work together to promote calm euphoria and sensual awareness. How to use:
Steep 1–2 teaspoons (approx. 1.5–3g) of whole flowers in hot (not boiling) water for 5–10 minutes. Add honey or your favourite sweetener to taste.
